There are 3 categories in this year's ARMM Photography Contest:
1. Natural Wonders category
- Submit photo entries showcasing the different natural attractions that are found in ARMM.
2. Man-made Attractions category
- Photos to be submitted in this category must be of the different man-made attractions in ARMM.
3. People & Culture category
- Submit pictures that depicts the rich culture, traditions and heritage of the people of ARMM.
4. ARMM Anniversary 2016 Events category
- Entries in this category must be taken in any of the events of the foundation anniversary celebration of ARMM from November 7 until December 19.
