CONTEST THEME
The 1st ARMM Photography Contest will adopt the theme “Beautiful ARMM”.
Participants should submit photos and images taken anywhere in ARMM that depict only the beautiful and positive things in the region such as tourist destinations, icons, celebrations, foods and delicacies, festivals and events.etc..
CATEGORIES
The 1st ARMM Photo Contest has four (4) categories – Natural Wonders, Man-made Attractions, People & Culture, and ARMM Anniversary 2016 Events
CONTEST DURATION
Organizer of ARMM Photo Contest will start accepting entries from November 1-December 20, 2016 JANUARY 10, 2017 (extended!)
WHO CAN JOIN
The contest is open to all interested FILIPINO photographers, both amateur and professional, aged 16 years old and above.
SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES
Participant may submit up to 3 entries per category.
Each photo entry must be taken from different provinces or cities in ARMM.
Entries must be in full color. Photos in black and white, or sepia are not allowed.

Entries must have a corresponding English title and a 2-4 sentence describing the photo, its relevance to the theme, and where and when the photo was taken.
PHOTO/ IMAGE REQUIREMENTS
Entries must be original; they should not have been submitted to any other competition, and should not be subject to any copyright issues.
Entries to be submitted should have been taken from January 1, 2016- December 2016.
Entries should not bear watermarks, signatures, frames or other markings, e.g. date/time stamps, etc.
Entries must be submitted in digital format (.jpeg or .jpg) and must be at least 1600 pixels on one side.
Only basic post-processing enhancements such as contrast, color balance, sharpening, cropping, dodging, and burning adjustments are allowed.
SELECTION OF WINNERS
All entries will be judged based on the following criteria:

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Upon submission of a photo entry, the participant agrees to grant the organizer and DOT-ARMM a rolyalty-free license to use the image in whatever purposes, and attests that the image is not subject to any form of existing exclusive commercial or editorial license.
The decision of the board of judges is final.
